*Please note that the judges and festival team may reserve the right to select certain films for special recognition and awards not listed here.  In many cases, a film may present such a unique element that it is determined it should be publicly recognized in a special way.

All of the films listed here are scheduled to screen during EQUUS INTERNATIONAL in March. The festival schedule of screenings and events, which will be posted shortly as well, may change slightly to accommodate other films or events.  Some of the films may be available for “On the Trail” Post Festival EIFF tours in cities and towns across the nation and around the world.

Finally, we hope you can attend and share your story in person.  A limited number of host-homes/lodging may be available on a first come, first serve basis.  We will be sending out a full overview of travel, lodging and other options relevant to attending the festival and visiting Montana.

To those whose films were not selected, it is always a tough decision and to some degree a subjective one.  I’ve been a filmmaker and I understand.  This festival is an outreach project of our equine rescue, adoption and education organization, which means that even if your film was not chosen at this time for the festival, you have contributed to the future of these magnificent beings; you are to be celebrated and honored for the effort, passion, and commitment you have put into the making of your film and we applaud you.  Thank you!
